"Wow, the newly re-opened Belles is noisy. Had to repeat my order a couple of times as the server couldn’t hear me. Noise level didn’t improve once sat down I gave up trying to talk to my elderly parent. One big improvement on the...old Belles it was at least warm! The sandwich I had was fairly tasty, and the coffee was good. My mother said the soup could have been a lot hotter, and I must say her sandwich looked a bit unappetizing, mainly because of what appeared to be too-warm processed cheese in it. There are a lot of cafes restaurants around South Surrey these days, so doubt we’ll be going back here anytime soon."

"It is a cozy place with a small country diner feel to it. Their main menu has a great deal of variety including a 2 patied burger that took care of me well. I managed to sample their all you can eat salad bar optional add on free of charge (standard offer with any mealover $9.00 with a drink). It didn't have a lot of options but the potatoe salad was not too heavy on the maonaise like most and I enjoyed the green onion and shredded carrot. Service was great, they even substituted the processed cheese that came on my burger with real cheddar free of charge. The only downside was there was some dirty cutlery and a dirty coffee cup at our table. For what the place was it was affordable and the food was good. I would go back and if you are looking for a quiet eating environment this place will work."
