"I popped into George to do some shopping with my daughter and we decided we have a quick lunch. very limited choice of food, all white bread sandwiches, no brown on offer, in fact nothing appealing on show at all. Anyway, I thought I will have a jacket potato, cannot go wrong with one of those.! I ordered a jacket with cheese and ham filling. When the thing arrived, I was astonished at what I saw on the plate. One jacket, 1 plastic pot of grated cheese. 1 plastic pot of shredded ham. Three lettuce leaves which had seen better days and a slice or two of tomato. My daughter had to go and get some mayonnaise as the whole thing was as dry as sticks, no better in sight. I tried to mix the cheese with the mayo but it just did not work, I got up and walked out leaving the food on the plate. Absolutely disgraceful standard of food, never again will I go in there."

"Staying for two nights. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with tea/coffee/hot chocolate supplied. Very welcome after a long drive and a stormy day. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, and staff were lovely. Delicious, top quality snd unique. However, my hubby noticed a 7.5% service charge on the bill and was disappointed. The bill was £77 and he would have paid £90, but as service charge was added, he just paid that and so staff were short changed in the long run. Sometimes it’s better to leave it up to the customer…."

"On a trip to Wrexham we decided to have a coffee before we did some shopping.We paid extra for a superior coffee for both our drinks.My partner had a cortado which seemed to be ok but the flat white that was given to me tasted...of hot milk and very little coffee taste.I complained to a member of staff who said she would make another one for me,which tasted more like the coffee I am used to in my local Costa. Big signs are posted about the quality of their flat white coffees so maybe some members of staff need a little more training!!"

"Great tasting coffee. I often treat myself to a latte in the mornings from here to start my day. Phil and Andy are great guys. I would recommend anyone pops in for a hot drink or to buy some cans of craft beer. The coffee shop is in a great central location on Bank Street in Wrexham town centre, near to the Halifax Bank. The prices are very reasonable. Ambiance is lovely and cosy. If you plan on visiting Wrexham, I would highly recommend popping in to Bank Street Social ahead of any other chain of coffee shops in Wrexham."
