"To escape ... the scam!!!! The most expensive of our 15 days vacation and the worst: bad service, little quantity, no quality, Very expensive....and on arrival, bad extra surprise: by connecting the note, We have been billed twice on some things!!!! Places to boycott!!!!"

"Discovered Aigueze whilst sight-seeing, and looking for lunch. Slightly out of town (ie 3 minutes' walk), but a great find. Good menu, reasonably priced, and fast efficient service, without any feeling that you were being hurried. Definitely go again, no problem."

"We dined twice at Le Bouchon. Recommended by Evelyn, our host at La Bastide des Muriers (see my review). The food was great and the price affordable. Highly recommended to make reservations. They were able to give us a table the first night when we...walked in, but the second night we made a reservation and it was packed, nonetheless. The setup is "al fresco" and you have the view of an old church and can interact with other tourists. Lively ambiance and busy, with waiters and waitresses moving along the tables bringing delicious food. For sports fans there's a couple of good size TV sets inside, but why bother with the excellent ambiance? Watch out for the amount of wine you ask ; I asked for a and they brought me half a liter, which was too much for me, particularly if driving back. A option will give you a couple of glasses. There are several options to choose from. The first night I ordered a pork plate, while my wife and daughter ordered a fish plate. Both were great...so we came for seconds the following night."
