"I just wanted to say Gloria is the best. Yeah, the rum was delicious, but she made our tasting. So funny/funny, extremely knowledgeable, ready and able to answer questions, and an uncannyly talented seller. Our group of 4 didn't stop talking how great she was. We arrived at the gift shop at 11:30 and we could get in for a 12:00 tasting. The gift shop has everything you can dream to go through / buy while waiting for your tour and the grounds are really incredible. I'm glad we stopped!"

"On Friday I went first and was amazed at the huge selection of tropical products. while I enjoyed a fresh, young cocosnus, the water, then the meat. I drove with pineapple, papaya, bananas, plantains and mountaineers to the house. they were all delicious!"

"The shave ice at Uncle 's is fine, but nothing special. Since there are so many amazing shave ice places on Kauai, Uncle 's has some stiff competition. We were greeted by a young man wearing an I love Hot Moms sweatshirt. Funny, but pretty unprofessional. He continued his conversation with his coworker as he tossed our dishes of ice cream down on the counter. It was obvious that he didn 't really want to deal with us or making our shave ice. The shave ice flavor was fine. The ice was a little hard and crunchy in spots and the vanilla mac nut ice cream wasn 't as tasty as it had been elsewhere. I would personally recommend skipping Uncle 's and heading for Waikomo Shave Ice in the shopping center on the other side of the traffic circle. That was the best shave ice we had in all of Kauai."

"Our hotel concierge suggested Dondero’s for our 20th anniversary. She was spot on! From the moment they welcomed us, to the time we exited, we were treated like royalty. The food was extraordinary and the service by Juan was wonderful. Christen, the manager, even welcomed us and her and Juan made us feel like our important day was just as special to them as it was to us! What an AMAZING experience! We will absolutely recommend them to everyone we know!"

"Great service, good food, and a wide selection of cocktails with an emphasis on negronis and old fashioneds. Kauai's first gastropub definitely hits the mark. The place itself has a prohibition-era speakeasy vibe. They might be changing locations at the end of July 2022, so doublecheck the address and don't miss this fun place."
