"Entered 3 people in shop ordered small fish and chips. As always no fish ready and as always only black pudding steak pie or sausages and hamburgers ready even though over 75% off customers are ordering fish and chips so within 4 mins 7 bits of fish placed above fryer(in heated part) they then continue to prepare on-line orders and this is all good however they are still awaiting other items out the fryers to complete the orders.Then after a 15 mins wait i then get the last piece of fish that had been standing for 11 mins now. Would/could have done this quicker at home. How no one has thought while we are waiting on these items still in the fryers for the online orders why not give out the fresh fish and chips we do have ready to the 2 guys sitting waiting in the shop as the fish is fresh. But no ingenuity used by the staff that fry. What could have been 5 mins took 15 not great service by fryers. And i have complained before and reason given for delay was people want fresh fish but after tonight's display (as above) that's not the case. If someone is in your shop longer than 10 mins you have failed them. Stop wasting our time in your quest to not waste fish. Chip shops are ment to be convenient this one struggles with that."

"Was not Very impressed with this place, the starter was great, but the main course was very dry and needed a source. Tiramisu had no taste to it which was very disappointing. The only saving grace was ambience was nice."

"I just started using nicos recently and loving it. the job was ready to pick up when we arrived. the pizza is amazing, really delicious and very fair value. will definitely use this as my local pizza place"

"Certainly looks very nice, sadly I can't comment on the wares offered as I waited for minutes to be acknowledged and place an order for a takeaway. Sadly this was not forthcoming despite two young male members of staff being in close proximity to me. Cafe wasn't terribly busy at the time. Left and bought a meal deal at the Coop. Not what I wanted but I didn't have all day."

"Went for early evening meal just before Christmas. The place is very nicely decorated and service good. However food very over-priced for what you get. Small portion of vegetable lasagne for me plus two very small scoops of icecream for desert. I think that head for two not-generous courses plus one glass of wine is excessive."

"Traditional cafe that takes pride in preparing food for each order. I had a fantastic full Scottish breakfast, good ingredients used ,well presented and hot. It’s served all day so perfect for lunch as you need a good appetite to enjoy . The takeaway counter was constantly busy with locals collecting their lunch, always a good sign."

"I always liked to eat arlecchinos, pre vegan, but I am so glad that they now have a vegan menu and it is delicious. it would be nice to get vegan cheese as if in the local tesco’s around the corner, tesco’s own make is good the spicy jalapeno aroma or blue cheese, would be great on the pizzas! also I love the gnocchi."

"Was in for a coffee last Friday when a guy came in told everyone that the owner only pays the waitresses £6 per hour!!! He keeps the tips when the customer pays by card. The cash tips aren't shared out properly either. The owner watches every customer the waitresses which is pretty creepy."
