"I wish I didnt have to do this but Ive been eating here for a while. Usually good service and decent food.. I really only go for the Banana Pudding thats catered there… Yesterday I found a nail in my cabbage, as I took a spoonful of it… complete and utter disgust immediately after i spit it out… I went back to the store to show them, and to ask for my money back. Now in that moment , I wasn’t trying to make a scene because they had customers actively coming in. I pulled the lady to the side that does the register and explained to her what I found. She immediately laughed in my face and denied it. The cooks from the back came out ina very hostile way and told me no one wears nails there. Now granted , WHOEVER WASHED THE CABBAGE that weekend or week easily couldve lost a disgusting nail, and its the same color as the cabbage!!! No refund was offered not even a partial one, they were sooooo rude to me!! Even AFTER I tried to not a make a scene."

"For New Year's Eve, I served Jamaican food from Sunshine Restaurant. The food is authentic and was a hit at the party; this was validated by my Jamaican friends attending the party. The jerk chicken, oxtails, curry goat and rice and peas were just a few of the dishes I served. I ordered a few day before the party and when I arrived for pick up the food was ready and piping hot. This is now my new favorite Jamaican restaurant in Trenton. The restaurant is small so I suggest grab and go."

"The Dapper Chef is both a catering chef and runs a Jamaican spot in Trenton. While I've only had the food on occasion, the variety, authenticity, and freshness is unparalleled. Writing this months later, you could taste each high-quality ingredient. The scotch bonnet pops in the j chicken. The chef also offers a lot of treats like dumplings and fritters on a regular basis, which means the sides are very complementary to the food. I've done a poor job in my photos and they understate how much I really enjoy the food."
