I've been here for a few years, and the food and service have never been disappointed. You can have a small meal with one side for about $8 or get a big one with two swallows for about $9.50. Both sizes give you a lot of good food. I had the Ruck Chicken, Curry Chicken, commanded Yams and Mac and cheese and loved everything. View all feedback.

I ordered today and honestly for the price the portions should be a lot better and the scrap style cabbage isn’t anything to rave over... I would much rather spend less and get more from All star around the corner... View all feedback.
I 've been going here for a few years and the food and service have never disappointed. You can get a 'small ' meal with one side for about $8 or get a 'large ' with two swipes for around $9.50. Both sizes give you lots of good food. I 've had the jerk chicken, curry chicken, candied yams and mac and cheese and loved all of it.
For New Year's Eve, I served Jamaican food from Sunshine Restaurant. The food is authentic and was a hit at the party; this was validated by my Jamaican friends attending the party. The jerk chicken, oxtails, curry goat and rice and peas were just a few of the dishes I served. I ordered a few day before the party and when I arrived for pick up the food was ready and piping hot. This is now my new favorite Jamaican restaurant in Trenton. The restaurant is small so I suggest grab and go.
I absolutely love this restuarant... I miss them so very much no other Jamaican restaurant beats this place when are you guys coming back I miss getting the best platters in town... I've tried other restaurants but none of them can compare to you guys at all hands down your the best
Cleanest restaurant ever. I walk by this place nearly every weekday and the owner is cleaning the place every single day. Fast service and the food is top notch. Can't recommend them enough.
I've eaten at Sunshine Restaurant on several occasions, and the food is excellent. The rice n' peas are not dry or burnt like some Jamaican restaurant rice and be. The staff is very friendly and do all they can to meet the need of the customers. I love going in there and listening to the different reggae music that is being played. I also appreciate the owner playing nothing but gospel music on Sundays. The owner is very friendly and would greet, speak, and even take orders if he has too. He is a very nice man and have intelligent conversations with you as well. The atmosphere is great and you get alot of food for your money. I was just told that the menu is going to change a little. For all of you Jamaican food lovers, Tuesdays cow feet and butter beans will be served; Wednesday stew peas will be served; on the weekends you can purchase Ackee and salt-fish. There will also be a special weekend breakfast for both Saturdays and Sundays serving Ackee and salt-fish with yam, banana and/or steam fish. I am looking forward to the add-ons and we as faithful customers should take advantage of the new items added on the menu.
