"The food was good. Server was not really personal and somehow slow, although there were only 2 other tables. We had the burned ends especially. Very recommended! The pulled chicken was moist and delicious. The various BBQ sauces were very good and offered a beautiful selection of flavors. The Brisketburger was very good. Not sure you can go wrong with something on this menu. Ask with the Cumberland St Entrance Parkdeck. It is less than half a block from the restaurant on the same side of the street."

"Arrived before reservation and got seated quickly. One of my sides was wrong, and I didn't get the one I wanted until I had almost finished my meal. The food was very good! Waiter was very friendly but could have followed up on getting the rest of my meal out."

"We did the restaurant week menu. My guest said the pork belly was good. I tried the pork tenderloin and it was dry and generally did not look appealing. I ordered the crabcake and it was fine, but my spinach was oversalted. I've been to many hotel restaurants and for this one to be in a foodie town and a Marriott overall I expected much more."

"Location wonderful. Overpriced. We had shrimp and grits and shrimp tacos. Grits dish fine with a fair amount of shrimp. Taco was full of cole slaw and sparse baby shrimp. I made online reservation and they asked if special occasion. I said yes and told them what it was. They never mentioned a word. Sat us next to a family with two babies anyway and when we wanted another table we had to go back to front desk and explain. Never saw a manager in the place and it was still early, before 6 pm. They opened at 4 pm. Server was slow. Took forever to get bill and pay and she only had 3 tables. We asked for ketchup for fries from the runner and then finally server. Received it halfway through the meal. Overall not a wow factor place but just ok in terms of food quality, ambiance, service and overall supervision."

"It?s hard to grab, and more importantly hold on to, the magic. I first came to Hank?s 20 years ago and remember what a magic evening it was. One of those experiences where the food, service, and ambiance all came together perfectly. On a recent Thursday evening we were a little early to celebrate a birthday we had noted on our online reservation. We were seated promptly, and even accommodated with a seating change request. "Great atmosphere! I love the eclectic decor, I can eat here in casual or dress, no stuffy place at all. The food was amazing! It is hard to find a place where seafood is not overcooked. Our server was fantastic, the prices were reasonable. I'll be back!"
