"It used to be a great place for a schnitzel!! But last time we were there with my husband (March 3. 2017), the schnitzel was very dry, probably reheated in the microwave! They did not have mashed potatoes; actually they did have them, but the waitress told us not to get them because the were lumpy! So I went for French fries (which I never eat) and my husband had their home fries, and they were way too greasy; one reason I did not order them this time (from my previous experience) We had the special with the Czech beer for $ 19.99/person!! It was around 3:00 pm, mind you, so not at lunch time. The beer was the best part of the meal! I had a Cesar salad which was nothing to write home about! No garlic, no taste. My husband had a potato soup with pickles!? But the size of the soup bowl was no bigger than my palm and I have very small hands! He said the soup was OK, but I tasted it and never would cook it at home, even though it's supposed to be a Czech recipe! It used to be a very good restaurant when they had a Czech, or German owners, but I do not think we will go there now, even when starving! After all we can get good Czech beer in the beer store and I can cook much better than that!!"

"My husband and I decided to stop at Red Lobster in Kitchener on Sunday, January for a late lunch. We were greeted in a welcoming manner and seated promptly. Our server (Rosanne) took the time to explain the featured menu items and then took...our drink orders. By the time that our drinks arrived, we were ready to order our main meals. Warm cheddar bay biscuits arrived at our table along with our salads and we enjoyed these immensely. Our main courses were also to our liking...hot and plentiful and well plated. We finished our dining experience with a shared dessert. Throughout our meal, Rosanne made sure that she checked in to see if we needed anything else and she replenished both our basket of buns and our beverages. Food and service were top notch!"

"My wife and I decided to try this new restaurant. She ordered the reuben sandwich along with a salad, water and slice of lemon in it. I ordered the Bison Burger with fries and a cup of coffee. Water and coffee came fairly quickly, no lemon for the water. Coffee was lukewarm and not hot. Seemed to take forever to get our meal. Fries were fresh cut potato The burger bun was too small for the amount of lettuce and garnish they put in with the burger. Soon as you took a bite, most of the stuff just squished out all over the plate and your hands, the bottom of the burger bun was very soggy. Ended up eating most of this with a knife and fork. The reuben was a mess to start with, the bread was very thin slices and very soggy. My wife finally pulled all of the bread out and put it aside. Waitress came over and we explained it to her. Very sorry and left. Supervisor came over short time later and told us they would take 15% off the bill. Coffee was $2.50, Reuben sandwich was $14.50 and the Bison Burger was $15.50. Kind of high price for what you get. Probably will not go back."
