"Very disappointed in our experience. The pub wasn't busy but we waited for ages for food. When it came it was overcooked ,dry and only just edible. The portions were small ...like a light bite at other eating establishments."

"Booked a table for 5 adults to celebrate our sons 31st birthday who past away five years ago the table and chairs we were sat at were perfect very comfortable and completely spacious the staff Louis mainly who waited on us all night was truly awesome very polite and respectful and friendly he and the other waiters and waitresses were brilliant all night long despite how completely busy it was for them all Louis is so amazing to talk to and kept us happy so funny but professional and we'll yet again the food we were served was so beautifully cooked and presentation was brilliant absolutely the best food and presentation skills we always recieve there.we love this place so much my wife had her 50th birthday party there and we rented 5 bedrooms in the lodge the rooms are awesome too very clean very well decorated even free fruit and hot drink s we loved staying so much we are going to have my birthday party in December there and Louis has booked us the whole 6 rooms this time can't wait to stay again TAP HAUS LODGE MANSFIELD ROAD IS JUST AWSOME EVERYTIME WE Visit WE FEEL SO WELCOME AND SPOILED THANK YOU TO ALL MANAGEMENT AND WAITERS, WAITRESSES AND BARSTAFF ALSO THE BRILLIANT CHEFS WHO REALLY REALLY COOK SO GOOD AND PRESENT BEAUTIFUL FOOD AND DESERTS BUT MOST OF ALL WE THANK LOUIS HE IS PERFECT THANKS. "We have driven past this restaurant so many times and can’t believe we’d never noticed it . As Indian food is our favourite we decided to give it a try. OMG, what a find . The ambiance of the place was lovely , having a DJ made it extra special instead of the usual Indian restaurant music playing in the background. The service was fabulous, despite it being very busy . We were all blown away by the choices on the menu , we will have to keep returning to try every dish that we would like to try. There are the usual bhuna etc but so many more options. All the staff were a delight but the owner/manageress ? looking beautiful in a fabulous sari came to chat , ensuring that we were happy with our food , the mango kulfi to finish was so smooth and creamy , we couldn’t fault anything. Can’t wait to return "

"Arrived 40 minutes late. Phone to check was told another order for the area had come in which would explain why it was stone cold when it arrived. Once reheated was very tasty. So minus one star for being late another for being cold"
