"We booked a meal for Saturday evening at 6pm, they have a 2 for £20 menus. We didn’t want to order from that and asked for Steak and Ale pie but they didn’t have any which was disappointing. We had beef burgers instead off the...offer which I felt were a little pink but they tasted ok. Overall an ok restaurant to visit if you want a quiet place with a fairly limited menu."

"An absolute gem of a pub and restaurant, we have been a few times and the food,staff and service have always been fantastic. We popped in today (27/08/23 on the way to dalby forest, unfortunately, it poured down, so we detoured, and I'm so glad we did. Sunday lunch was outstanding, I had the nut roast with all the trimmings and keylime pie with lemon sorbet for pudding, it was superb, youngling had two starters instead of a main, battered squid with sweet chilli sauce and salmon with rocket salad. She is Spanish, knows her fish and rated it fabulous, strawberry and meringue sundae was for pud, and was also very good, the stawberries were so fresh tasting and sweet. The staff were, as always, the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. Ted the dog was thoroughly spoiled with a yorkshire pud and meat (free! A wonderful pub, good food, good staff, good prices, dog friendly, very well done to all who work there"

"We, along with our 2 great friends, have today(November 12) had a fabulous Sunday lunch at Cedarbarn. We all agreed that it was the best we have had. Beautiful meat(2xPork and 2xBeef) cooked to perfection and accompanied by plentiful vegetables. Great friendly staff. What more can we say….top drawer! This place deserves all its accolades. "Amazing views across Rosedale. Procedures in place for Covid made us feel safe. Service a little slow because of this but friendly and attentive staff. We visited a few times when camping for drinks and had a meal too. Food was good (amazing desserts! . Decent range of drinks too."
