"We came to this restaurant because it says on Google, they offer dunes in which was not the case, all orders have to go for. We ordered 2 gyro plates that were $15 each (which I should not pay so much for some good Greek food) they came with a Greek salad and some potatoes (Pretty Bland). Overall, the food was mediocre and really nothing to rave about unfortunately. It is sad if you expect a fresh gyro and instead hear that the microwave is beaten and the summer goes out. The Greek coffee I wanted to try because I read earlier reviews about how delicious it was and what not, absolutely not. The smell was very depressed and I couldn't even drink more than a sip. So overall not impressed."

"I have been eating at the Rice Bowl since the mid 1950's. The food is just as good today as it was then. The service has always been top notch and the same people are still running the place! I put them in a special league and rank them with the great restraints of Anchorage like the Club Paris, The Chef's Inn, The Chinese Kitchen, The Lucky Wishbone and the Double Muskie in Portage. They were also around when the Bagota was still in existence so we are lucky to still have them."

"I recently went to Rice Garden, and it was wonderful.Staff was awesome.Excellent, fresh, and not excessively sugary like in some Chinese places, the food was also really good. We had almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, and Mongolian beef. Each dish had a distinct flavor of its own.Tidy, well-kept restaurant.Overall, Rice Garden was great, and I can't wait to go back there again."

"Lemon chicken!. This was the best lemon chicken I have ever had! So fresh and light. The prime rib is also off the charts good. This place has many regulars that are catered to in a very warm and attentive way. I did notice that non-regular 's don 't get quite as much attention. My suggestion? Become a regular !"
