"Once we saw the video of the Fords Lobster Bomb posted on CT Now in 2016, we?ve gone at least once a year. Do you love lobster? Do you love bisque? Do you love sour dough bowls? This is for you! If you don?t love lobster (or you?d prefer any and manysorts of other lobster options) there are still many choices on the menu for you, so bring yourself and your lobster lovingfriends! There are no reservations and the lines can be hours long depending on the day and time but it?s BYOB and you candrink in the parking lot overlooking the sound while you wait! It?s all outdoor seating so, even when the weather is gorgeouswhere you are, bring a jacket because we?ve been enveloped by fog in the past and it got chilly in a hurry. Have a boat? Floatright up to the dock, tie up and get full service right to you including real plates and silverware. I highly recommend andwill be going again!"

"Southwestern bowl was horrible I took a few bites threw it out. it wasn't prepared well the sauce is awful the rice is not good the flavor is nasty it's sloppily put together. Cheddar broccoli soup is beyond thick it makes you gag and the flavor is horrible tastes fake. Won't be wasting my money here again."

"A classic American diner with breakfast anytime. Nothing fancy or subtle but all good. My favorites are their excellent breakfast choices but family likes lunch choices also. So rare to get good biscuits and gravy but they know how. Huge place so no problem bringing a large group."

"Ordered calamari, 1 snow crab leg cluster with all seasonings, fries, and the fried catfish basket for myself and boyfriend. Calamari was dry and flavorless had no seasoning at all. The sauce it came with was a odd sweet and sour sauce that just did not go with it. The snow crab boil had little to no sauce, was severely overcooked/dry, and had no flavor even though every seasoning was ordered. The catfish fry was seasonless and soggy. Also everything was stone cold. We did order take out but only live 5 minutes down the road. Super disappointed as we both only heard good things about this place. Shaking crab is immensely better as they season there food and cook everything to perfection. Will not be having Mr Crab again."

"Wonderful little cafe that is worth the extra drive and is in a very scenic seaside town. The food was fantastic, eggs benedict for my son, pancake for my other son, and the Irish omelette for me, which was stuff with perfectly grilled onions and huge chunks of delicious corned beef. This find is no local greasy spoon I would certainly go out of my way to come back. The server was delightful- kind and patient as my 7 year old carefully ordered his pancake, which he also remarked was excellent."
