"The food was overall okay. My French toast was cold. The poached eggs were excellent, however. Wish I had a few more roasted potatoes, they were good. The ambiance was nice, very eclectic. It was a bit crowded upstairs, so the volume and conversations were pretty loud. Our server was very nice and attentive. I would recommend coming again. Maybe to try dinner."

"Chowder was good. Entrees desserts and drinks were horrible. Steak w Gorgonzola had mustard and other non-typical items on it. Neither my guest nor I finished our meal. Drinks were terrible. Overall one of the worst dining experiences I have had in years. Was really looking forward to it so big disappointment."

I had to send it back. obviously they only alleviated it when they brought him back when it was hard. for $30-40 a plate I expect that food is excellent as served. there is no excuse if they do not get this money for eating out of the kitchen with high quality. also very loud. we also reserved eight. but they had not prepared a table they gave us two high-bar high-rise tables with pushed hockers. we had two people in their 80s who were very comfortable. Never."

"We returned from salmon fishing in Canada and stayed in Portsmouth for the night. Rudi’s found on OT. Downtown Portsmouth was carved with tourists on Saturday night, so Rudis parking was a welcome view. We arrived well before our reservation, and the staff was very accommodating. They found us a good table. Very pleasant room with an excellent pianist who provides live music. The tables were full. The waitress was attentive. The paprikasalate with local peasants was good, but the lobster Risotto was a great disappointment, gooey and tasteless. The Haddock of my friend was crisp, but also generally lacking taste. We skipped Dessert. Maybe we have them in a bad night."
