"Wanted to try southern cooking since my date was also from the south. Tremendous food from the gumbo, shrimp and grits, to their succulent lemon chicken. Will definitely recommend to try this Southern restaurant if you are looking for it in NYC!"

"Cebu is my favorite spot in Bay Ridge/Brooklyn. The ambiance is great for a datenight, a girls night, a romantic fun night out, and with their brunch menu, you can really go any time of day. Service is impeccable, drinks and food are lovely, you definitely get great quality for the price."

"Ambiente was great. Love the look and feel. Meet was slightly cold. Chicken wings could be longer on the fire. Souces had good taste.But overall i had much better BBQ.Value for money was ok… good for a fast eating but if you expect best meat, maybe there are orhers…"

"We arrived at 11 am on a Saturday. While there was no wait, the table space was limited. Most tables are outside, so plan accordingly. We decided to sit outside to check out the neighborhood. The area was full of pedestrians and bicycles, which was cute and quiet. The table and chairs were not very comfortable but the food made up for it. Their toffee doughnut and chicken biscuit was worth the trip alone. Add on one of their huge cinnamon rolls, and you have a brunch you will never forget."

"Really phenomenal BBQ, the best I’ve had since being in NYC. The meats and sides are absolutely amazing. It’s a really nice location too a bit hard to reach from the city (45 min by ferry/subway , but it’s really nicely decorated with plenty of space. Wish they had more fans because it is HOT in the building, but would be fun to come at night when it is cooler out (and they have live music! . The cornbread, pickles, and mac and cheese were delicious. The brisket was super juicy and I liked the turkey too. The ribs were a bit dry but still good. The line gets super long during the day (was about 30 minutes on a Saturday at 2pm and I imagine it’s longer at night. I will 100% come back here, had a great time and would highly recommend."

"Although we had a reservation they were not expecting us. Had to bring a table and fold up chairs from the back to give us a table. It was packed and only one server for the dining room. Burgers were outstanding. We each had a different side. Fries and salad were both okay. Chips were over cooked, largely burned, and dry. Nice atmosphere and truly delicious burger."
