"Intimate, delicious local restaurant by all-star Chef Julie, who really loves kitchen. We started with the Must-have Cornbread and some goat cheese croquettes that were both delicious. My entree was a super tasteful Mexican inspired chicken with grilled street maize, accompanied by some of Cure's inventive and delicious cocktails. I recommend terrace seats if possible for a comfortable outdoor dinner! This small restaurant fills up quickly, so in any case before or get reservations, especially on a weekend."

"Decided to give them a try on the way through the area. My husband and I shared a cup of clam chowder, general tso pizza, and the pulled pork mac n cheese. The Mac and cheese was delicious! The pizza was pretty good too but would try a different flavor next time. The crust was baked just right."

"Clearly the café is now the main focus while the pitch and putt has become a wreck… I remember playing there during my childhood, when the course was in perfect shape. Now, an afternoon of golf is more frustrating than anything as you play with terrible golf balls. One advice: buy new decent golf balls."

"There were several diners around us who were extremely loud and appeared to be overserved. Our server was friendly but inconsistent, and service overall was not impressive. Could have been much better. Our appetizers were cold upon arrival and should not have been."

"I came in the morning before work. I got 2 blueberry pancakes, potatoes, eggs, and a sausage patty. The food was amazing. The bluerries we're fresh. Service was impeccable. Music and atmosphere are perfect. It was a great experience before going to work. My food came out quickly. I will definitely come back again.Food: 5/5"

"I went to the Tavern last night and the food,service,and ambiance was amazing! My waiter was Daniell he was a amazing,funny,and very professional waiter. It did not take to long I recommend the truffle fries with wings they are very good. Our overall experience was amazing I definitely recommend and if Daniel is not busy I recommend you ask for him!"

"My husband and I were visiting his mother and my mother in law in Virginia. We had a taste for some soul food, so I googled location's in the area and we decided on this place. We went there on Friday March 17, 2023 around 530/600. There was one person in line to order before us. The bartender took our order to go. She was very courteous. My husband ordered the smothered turkey wing meal w/ greens/rice and gravy and 2 pieces of fried chicken. My mother in law ordered fried shrimp and I ordered smothered porkchops w/Mac n cheese and yams. We all thought the food was delicious. My smothered porkchops were some of the best I have tasted at a restaurant. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes. It is not handicap accessible. They do welcome everyone and you can eat inside. On our way out they were starting to get somewhat busy. The prices were decent we paid around $95 (included in the price was 2 shots of Don Julio and 1 shot of Hennessey while we waited for the food). We highly recommend that if your in the area to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed."
