"It was a great dinner with my mom. The manager who is Bill of the restaurant was a wonderful host with an excellent setting. We were warmly welcomed and he really went out of his way to meet our needs and stay comfortable to enjoy our dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed and quite what was perfect for a conversation. The overall service was excellent. The food with very tasty and well presented. That was a pleasant experience."

"I thought it was just another chain. They've been here since the late 1980s. Tim, our server was great. He was very attentive to our 7 wife party. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I order Chicken Dumpling soup and rolls... Fresh bread with butter? The restaurant was well maintained, food was great?, service was great... I would definitely be back with the family to try a dessert and coffee."

"My husband and I visited tor the first time today.(We're not from Denison We were there a little after 10:30 and it was pretty busy but we got seated quickly. We were given some complimentary bread rolls with butter. They were fresh. The inside was soft and warm. I ordered fried green tomatoes for an appitizer( I've always wanted to try them and i wasnt disappointed! They were nice and crispy not mushy at all. They had a little bite to them. It came with avocado ranch which was surprisingly yummy. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, broccoli rice casserole and garlic mashed potatoes with white gravy. To drink was just a soda. The chicken fried chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Great flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccoli rice casserole was very flavorful. My husband ordered a sweet tea with lemon, the chicken fried brisket, loaded baked potato and a salad. He let me try a little bit of his food. Im picky with my sweet tea and usually wont order it when at a restaurant because its always too sweet but here it was just perfect. Just the righr amount of sweetness. The chicken fried brisket was a first for us. It was nice and crispy on the outside, the inside was soft and not dry at all. Has great flavor. The salad was a good size. Im not sure if they make theirbown crutons or not but that was ny favorite party of the salad. Overall everything exceeded out expectations. If you haven't been to eat here I would definitely recommend it!"

"I think we 've now visited this place three times. Kills me a bit because we have one that 's probably 5 mi down the street from us in Fort Worth. Would have liked to visit somewhere that was more 'unique ' to College Station, but you just can 't beat the fact that you get impeccable service here every time you come. Servers are always nice, food is always on point, no issues in three visits to this restaurant. Because of this, we will more than likely continue to come here when we are in town. Good job!"
