"This was literally the best dining experience I have since before covid. The team there could not be any more fantastic... from the hostess Jada, to server Gayle, to manager Gerald. They all made sure that our experience was one for the records. The food was outstanding. There is not another chef in LA doing food quite like this restaurant. Simple in form, but with a level of complexity that is not over the top or pretentious. It felt like being invited to an amazing dinner party that you never wanted to end."

"Fantastic modern restaurant with great service and excellent food. Moderately priced too, considering the quality. The pasta was so full of flavor, we couldn't believe it was vegetarian. The pork porterhouse was perfect, juicy and flavorful and expertly cooked. I liked it even more than the ribeye! Definitely come here for an upscale dinner at an accessible price in a gorgeous setting."

"One of the modern classic institutions in LA by Jon and Vinny. Ten years later, it’s still going strong and if you can’t get a dinner reservation at Jon Vinny’s, head over and eat here instead. The menu is, unsurprisingly, full of plenty of meat dishes with eclectic global takes on classics or mashups. All the sourcing is from seasonal farmer market fare like the other JV places. I recommend for starters getting the chicken liver toast, beef tendon chips with pho onion dip (like dipping spiced chicharron in an Asian french onion dip), the pig ears served fried like heuvos rancheros, melted p’tit basque with chorizo and cheese is good although the cheese wasn’t exactly a melted texture so there had to be some knife cutting. We chose the charred cabbage for a vegetable fish which was very smoky, fragrant, and crunchy coming from crushed peanuts. For more main dishes, the grilled turkey leg w/ white bbq sauce, lamb shoulder steak with some sort of hot sauce, and duck confit were delightful. And you have to get the tres leches cake for dessert, which we ended up ordering an extra."

"We had a perfect dinner at AOC last night. The food was delicious, the portions generous, the cocktails and wine were wonderful, and again, portions generous (no 4oz wine pours here ! the Farmer’s Plate was especially great. Our server, Jake, was attentive, courteous, helpful, and kind. The environment is beautiful and reminded us of some long dinners we’ve had in Spain. We’ll be coming back again soon, and cannot recommend this place highly enough. The service and environment alone are worth your time, and of course the food is incredible too. What’s not to love?"

"My friends and I loved this restaurant! We came to celebrate a birthday and we all left extremely satisfied. There are so many items on the menu so we'd love to come back and try some more food and drinks. Here are the highlights: Seafood Tostada (8/10): Great shareable item. Comes with extra saltine crackers and worked surprisingly well with the ceviche. It was good, but I'm not sure I would get it again. Lamb Chops (9/10): The lamb was super tender and only had a slightgamey taste. The salsa verde and arugula paired perfectly with the lamb. Rib Eye (10/10): The rib eye by itself was amazing, but what made it even better was that they let you turn it into a taco. The dish also comes with corn tortillas, avocado slices, roasted chilies green onions, greens, limes, and an olive oil based sauce. This was perfect for sharing, even with 4 people. Churros (10/10): Holy guacamole... these churros. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy inthe middle, it might just be the best churro I've ever had. The chocolate-caramel sauce for the first few bites, but it quickly became overly sweet. Sangria (10/10): The sangria is a great drink for anyone looking for something sweet andnot high in alcohol."
