"Had dinner with such a beautiful view! There was a big group of us, so to start off we got a few appetizers to share. Our choice of appetizers included the cream of crab soup, bacon wrapped bbq shrimp, raw oysters, and the shrimp cocktail. The appetizers came in very small quantity plus it was pricey for each dish, it contributed to the lost of a star; just because we had a large group and there wasn’t enough for everyone to try so we had to order double. Shrimp cocktail was alright, highly recommend the cream of crab soup and the bacon wrapped shrimp! For our entrees, I only took photos of my boyfriend’s meal and mine. Didn’t want to be rude and make our friends wait to eat! Boyfriend got the Maryland’s Style Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and I got the Steak and Cake! Steak was very tender and soft but lack of taste. The crab cakes were very delicious!! The vegetables on the side was also bland but the mashed potatoes was good! Few of our friends got the surf and turf and said it was very good. Another set of our friends got meals from the “All Day Lite Fare” such as the Char-Grilled burger and Jerk Chicken BLT since they are not a huge fan of seafood. The ratings I got for those weren’t the best. They said the chicken was really dry and burger was alright. Overall, I say 3.5/5 due to the lack of flavor in the vegetables and my streak, the small quantity of the appetizers and the meals from the “all day lite fare menu.” Definitely do try the fine dining part of the menu if you go, expensive but worth the money!!"

"Superb hidden gem in OCMD tucked away from the coastal highway. Food: 5/5 Service 5/5 Friendliness: 5/5 Attentiveness: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 i was doing some research for restaurants to celebrate my Birthday in OCMD. After some careful digging, decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing the photos of the views. From the moment we approached the Hobbiton styled front entrance, the door was immediately opened for us, greeted by a friendly staff who seemed extremely welcoming. We were informed our table was still being setup, and sat down within 5 minutes. Unfortunately we did not get to see the rest of the restaurant inside, since the outdoor dining we booked was right behind the hostess 's desk (Next time we will book inside sitting and check the place out). But the restaurant seems to have a lot of little Hobbiton details all over. As soon as we sat down, we noticed there was a Happy Birthday sign on our table, with a cute LED candle. For appetizer we both ordered Soup (Summer Squash, and Crab Bisque (Which had huge chunks of crab meats) both were absolutely delicious, accompany with some very light fist size bread) Main course We ordered Swordfish with grilled scallops, and Filet Mignon. Both were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Dessert we decided to share one of my favorites, Creme Brulee. Our waitress... Not only was she extremely attentive and friendly. the way she went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the candle was lit (While there was heavy winds blowing from all around) so I could have a proper birthday celebration, was MUCH Appreciated (Because I was ready to say, it 's ok after many tries, but the wind said otherwise) Overall our dining experience was PERFECT. Food was amazing, staffs were extremely friendly, attention to details were not missed at all. and the restaurant cleanliness was on point (Around the dining area, bathroom and the hallways) Looking forward to going back again when we get another chance to visit OCMD."

There is nowhere on the ordering site to ask how the meat should be cooked, whether any specific item(s) be included/excluded; i.e., no onions, and nor do they ask if the customer has food allergies. "When we first came in, we were happy about the atmosphere. There were statues of pirates, a fake pirate box, a T-shirt shop that looked like it was on an island bay and more. We wanted to sit outside and it was a 30-minute waiting period that was cool, because this gave us a chance to take everything the front of the restaurant had to offer. We were sitting outside. And everything seemed to go downhill. Our waiter was amazing, but not even his great attitude and service could maintain for everything that was to follow. First we gave menus. On the first side of my daughter's menu was a piece of green onion, which means that it is not a great task to wipe the menu after each guest. This is always unacceptable and definitely unacceptable when the restaurant seemed not busy. Outside there were only two other parties from three. They gave us water in our own individual water pictures. I thought it was sweet until I turned around and there was a piece of green onion on it. I thought maybe that was the subject. The server was embarrassing and brought me another picture. We ordered the crab draw. It was decent. I definitely had much better. My daughter and I ordered the pineapple Rum Crush that was pretty good. It came in the sweetest pineapple cup we could take home. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. When it came, I opened my utensils and my fork was bent. At this point I was ready to press the restart as in a game. I got a new fork. I started eating my salad and someone was definitely hard on the salt. My daughter ordered a pasta dish. At that time I checked for what all the others ordered and was in a radio. My BFF reminded me that she ordered the Black Beards Burger. It was beautifully plated. She said it was okay. I usually give restaurants a second chance. I don't think this will be the case with this restaurant. We were all very underwhelmed once we picked up our menus. If you like green onions on your menu, salty food and curved utensils THEN this is the place for you. I went back, it was for another sweet pineapple cup."
