"A very traditional and historic spot that is perfect to try some local specialties. Luckily the portions are not huge but the amount of tasty Appenzeller cheese will easily fill you up. The local boiled sausage with macaroni cheese and fried onions is a full...plate of Appenzellness. The dessert wasn’t nearly as memorable as the accompanying fresh whipped cream."

"On advice of the guests we were staying at in Gais, we booked a table in that charming place. Good choice, indeed ! Everything was perfect : all the meals were original and beautifully presented, the meat was incredibly soft, juicy and tasty, service was very attentive. Very good Italian wine (Amarone della Valpolicella, Lavarini)Only a tiny disappointment : the paintings on the wall were miserable."
