"Out of town near the dog-poo-lined bike path lies the Americana pimped La Pizza Gourmande. On approach it looks more like the kind of neighbourhood you'd find a mechanic workshop. Inside the décor appears to spell doom - tin budweiser ads and John Wayne on the TV. My hosts didn't look particularly thrilled to see me but begrudgingly gave me the least appealing table in an almost empty restaurant. The pizza is however, exceptionally good. Simple, fresh, and proper Italian.Homesick apres skiers from the States may appreciate the American beers, and the food quality and price outweights the otherwise lack of charm. Recommended."

"Restaurant unfathomed, covered not clean, brothel in semi open kitchen and as the bosses are to the west total, the date of the day is not the right, Thursday 12 November but of what year)?; menu of the day, a soup of vegetables, when the soup arrived it was a soup of beets, good but I did not know that the vegetables were going to turn into beetsensuite 2 nuts of veal"

"It was first the nets of perches, then a fondue, then a risotto with jacques, reversing! not to mention the caramel butter salted creams..all is perfect ideal for tasting, without spending hours at the table since the service is fast. Superb frame, very current decoration.Beautiful more than perfect!"

"Flashes on a Sunday evening, correctly filling pizza with medium-quality ingredients, we found this damage. As for service, no smiles except when the wallet went out paying the bill with little jokes to "take" the shot of the bad service. our opinion remains mixed, we do not really recommend."

"We stopped on Sunday at 1 hour on the way to flaine (the only restaurant we could find) for lunch. simple parking on the street. we ate good French food from the menu, including the children's menu. The service/environs are traditional, so they don't expect...to push through. good desserts."

"It's an okay table. The restaurant is not located in a very attractive area. The decoration is ok. The menu is interesting with a decent selection. Food was good but had nothing out of the ordinary. Prices are really too high though. Desserts are good. Personnel kinda lack experience for a place like this. I would probably go back if I don't have too pay...."
