"Went here for dinner and ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were fresh and delicious. Waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive. Singer/guitar player, who's music created a nice ambience and the sound did not overwhelm."

"Among the many restaurants on Madera beach this is become our favorite. is quiet and nicely appointed with very pleasant service. I highly recommend their avocado stuffed with shrimp (the best in Zihua and is enough for two people. The grilled red snapper is cooked to perfection. My wife had a grilled pork chop very tasty and not quite as tender as I would like it but as good as you may get in the area. The Apple strudel strudel with ice cream was great as all the other desserts."

"Wonderful service from a friendly wait staff but be sure to brush up on your Spanish or you will struggle to order. The food is fantastic, very inexpensive and authentic as are the Mexican street dogs who roam around your table and the alleys as you enjoy your feast. El Pastor seems to be the hot menu item but we enjoyed chicken tacos and a beef stuffed potato which were very good along with ice cold cervesas promptly delivered upon request."

"This place is a gem! It's so comfortable here, and the service was warm and friendly. The property is adorable they feed the dogs on the street just outside the gate and I think there were rescue cats as well. They also appear to be growing a lot of their own fruits, veg and herbs. I went in to use the restroom (very clean) and its sort of through the kitchen oh the smell! It was amazing. I wished I could have stayed all day to sample all of the food. My husband (vegetarian) and I (vegan) made it here near the end of our trip such a shame, because I would have been here regularly had I known better, sooner. We had a bruch so delish it was typcial Mexican cuisine, but veganized. Both of us really enjoyed our meal immensely, and were nicely full at the end. Everything tasted and smelled very fresh. It appears they have a special each day, along with a nice selection on their menu. I will definitely be back next time in Zihua. Please check this place out people! It's well worth the trip (which is approx. in the middle between the market area and the big Commercial Mexicana). Thank you Ecovegana! Very yummy and I love that this is even an option in Mexico. Nice one!"
