"The restaurant had a good selection of Greek beers. The appetizers we had were the calimari, pita with 3 dips and dolmades. Excellent. We also had main courses of spanakopita, vegetarian moussaka, and lamb shoulder. All were well done. The service was prompt and friendly."

"This Cactus Club has a nice, big patio attached to their lounge and dining room. I ordered a Cajun Chicken Sandwich With Salad. While the Cajun spiced Chicken Breast was flavourful, it was almost paper thin. What made it worse, was that the cook didn’t...have the presence of mind to toast the bun. Even some fast food burger joints toast their buns before building a burger/sandwich. Not Cactus Club!! They served the paper thin Cajun Chicken Breast on a cold, dry Brioche Bun. What a utter disappointment. Because the Bun was so big, thick, cold and dry, it was all you could taste. You could barely taste the Cajun Chicken. A basic rule of cooking, is you always toast a bun before building your Burger or Sandwich, especially if it’s a pre packaged Bun that has been sitting in a plastic bag. The Sandwich was disappointing because of this. The Kale Salad was not very creative or interesting. I would have given this review a lesser rating. The only reason the rating was lifted to Average, was because the service was quite good. The server was friendly, informative, helpful and accommodating."

"Best Dahl and naan I have ever tasted! Someone please tell me where I can find the recipe. Not too oily, not too hot, yellow pease not whole and not too mushed up made for perfect texture. Was it cilantro in it? Was just perfect! Also portion perfect too. The personalized message the attach to bag is just a great touch and bonus."

"We wanted to try a new place tonight and headed to the website of our trusty Entertainment Book to find a likely spot. Desi Turka popped up as a local place that has good ratings across several review sites,so we decided to give it a try. What a good move that proved to be!! The restaurant is small, but clean and fresh looking. The menu has a good mix of meat and vegetarian options, with various naan and side dishes. The food was fast and delicious, not too oily or greasy, portion sizes are very generous, and the peshwari naan is to die for! I could go back and visit again just for that alone. Really happy to have found this little gem will definitely be back especially as I forgot to use our voucher!!"

"I was looking for Greek food in the Metrotown area and discovered this restaurant. My friend and I enjoyed the appetizer platter and lamb chops. Lots of food, good variety and taste very good. There is a few outside patio tables here too which we sat at. The service was friendly and very good."

"From the time we walked in Trent made us feel welcomed. He was very professional in his demeanor. He was very pleasant. The service was excellent ? the food was delicious all the way to the blueberry pie. Thank you for making our visit a very memorable lunch."

"Went here as our original destination wasn't wheelchair accessible. So very happy we did. We had wings, a mixed grill plate of Lemon Grass Chicken & Pork Chop, plus a sampler of Chicken Skewer, Spring Roll & Shrimp On Sugarcane. Also had the Condensed Milk/Egg Yolk Soda and a Salty Lemon Soda, plus bought some Bun Mi Sammies to take away. Everything was awesome. Especially liked that we were able to order two sides of the Beef Pho broth. So good, I'm coming back for the Pho ASAP."

"I LOVE THIS PLACE. The relaxed and fun game-night atmosphere were a great accompaniment for my bubble tea! I had the mint chocolate bubble tea slush and it was just as I'd hoped it was. My friends and I sat there and played board games for a couple hours while we sipped on our drinks! I will say parking is slightly annoying as we had to find street parking, which wasn't easy even at the hour we went. I'd definitely return though!"
