"This is by far, the best place to get authentic miso ramen in illinois. I go here hungry, and i leave full and happy. My only sadness when i go here, is not only have i finished my meal, it's the fact that i must leave. I count the days until i may return, and succle on the sweet-savory deliciosness that is concocted in this fine establishment. Many blessings upon you, wonderfull chef's, who have been brought on this earth to share your culinary arts with the world. Odin smiles upon you."

"Rated best noodle house in Time Out Chicago for a good reason. Located in the food court of the famous Asian market MITSUWA, this place makes me crave their no. 4 Salt Ramen. The fresh noodles, melt in your mouth pork slices and all the toppings can be the reason that the line to this place sometimes winds around the court. There is often a line forming as early as 10 minutes before they open at 11am. The efficient crew zips through the orders. All right! That's it! Now I'll have to go there tomorrow! Yum"

"Delicious ramen and overall food. Had the miso butter corn ramen and the depth of flavor was amazing. The saltiness yet creaminess of the broth with the chewy noodles was much appreciated. The agedashi tofu was also good, the crunch of the outer layer but the tenderness of the tofu after biting into it, too good not to have."

"This restaurant was a pretty mixed experience for me. We ate at this restaurant as a plan B , so we walked in on a Friday night without a reservation. No reservation meant that we were immediately told we had to wait 45 minutes. We took a seat at the bar area to wait for the table. The bar area was very full, making it noticeably hot. There was loud music making it difficult to hear the person sitting next to me. Some might really like this kind of scene, but I guess it just didn 't feel like the atmosphere I expected from a Japanese restaurant. After a lengthy wait, we were finally seated in an area that was much more comfortable as it was much cooler and quieter. I ordered a bowl of ramen noodles (Shio or Tonkotsu, I can 't remember) with extra pork. The ramen was phenomenal! Our waitress was also generally attentive and patient with us. In the end, I would consider going back as I really enjoyed the food. But, I probably wouldn 't do so without a reservation on a busy night, and I would probably also try to avoid any night where there is a club like atmosphere if possible."

"I was so happy with my first bite of the Mexican roll. And the crab rangoon was fresh and delicious. And then the car came to a screeching halt. I think the food started tasting worse every minute after the waiter (owner? yelled at my girlfriend. Heexclaimed I don 't care so loudly if there was more than one table in the restaurant everybody would have looked up. She nevergets sauce on anything and she had already excluded sauce from one item that said it came with sauce. But one of her rolls didnot indicate that it came with sauce. So she did not ask them to leave it off. And when she pointed out that the sauce was onthe roll is when he yelled at her. Good thing we enjoy weird experiences together because this restaurant was like an episode ofThe Twilight Zone. Then we realized we had no Wasabi or Ginger at the table and they proceeded to bring the tiniest servingseither of us have ever seen in our lives. She went to the bathroom and came back grossed out because the toilet was overflowedand the bathroom was not clean. And to cap off the evening 10 minutes before close, she tried to order one more roll from theall-you-can-eat menu and the waitress said sorry we 're closed. We won 't have to worry about them spitting in our food because wewill never be back."

"I went for lunch so maybe not the perfect representation. A great quiet spot, that's open late, has plenty of roll or BBQ options. Service was excellent and food was great. The only thing stopping a 5 star view in my mind is that when comparing withequally priced sushi locations, the amount of food you get falls a little short. Will be back, but probably not my go-to."
