"This place is on the affordable side for sure. I was surprised by the how cheap it was. The quality of food for the price is excellent.They also accept ebt which is another surprise. They have some sauces, I liked the ginger packets they had, the steamed veggies were also pretty good. Bot much spice bit I'd recommend stopping here for cheap eats."

"I came to this restaurant with my family since I was 4 years old in 1994, after my father had withdrawn from the navy after his last service in misawa. While I do not remember eating four there, I can tell them every experience I have eaten, that it has been incredibly pleasant, although I do not remember the first. besides eating always amazing, including the last time a month ago, they are always incredibly consistent. misako, more often than not, was the one who served our table for at least 20 years (probably here with my family have eaten 300 times). the other reviews that show their amazing hospitality are not wrong in the smallest. to the other familiar and long-term faces of the personal, I'm sorry that I didn't have their names, but they have always provided the same amazing service and eating! I'm pretty sure the man was behind the sushi bar and grill there as long as I remember. while I no longer live in chula vista, I am always happy to visit two places when I come back: kanpai(? cactus butt? we called it loving, as it held a great sign logo of a wash bear with a spikey looking dick in the past a laterne, I was sad not to see him last time that I was there, but that has nothing changed about the experience, eating or service! and home. Thanks again that I was the best Japanese restaurant (including a few in japan)."

"Horrible experience Sushi from this restaurant over grubhub order. The salmon was stained and the sushi was not imaginable. For 33 dollars (in tip, service fees, CA driver fees, taxes) it was a massive disappointment. I'll never eat here again"

"I had been wanting to come here for some time. I spent the day with my son when he said, Dad, I 'm hungry. That 's when the light bulb turned on in my brain! We came to iSushi and it was ok. The girl who waited on us was so pretty I couldn 't keep my eyes of her. She provided the best service, checking on us multiple times and keeping our drinks full. I left her a nice tip. The food was between good and ok.i 'd give everything about a 6.5 out of 10, and I eat alot of sushi. The best part was probably the Crunchy roll, the worst was the baked rolls (Dynamite Volcano). One of them had carrots in it. What the f? Never seen that before.. But overall it was an expensive fill up for two that came out to $84. The restaurant was pretty clean and the restrooms were nice as well."
