"Five of us had lunch here on Friday and we all enjoyed each other very much. as a midday on a weekday there were only a few other tables occupied and the noise level was bearable. our table divided 4 entrees be the pide, chickpea . corn brot, dip duo haloumi – all fabulous only the chickpea corn brot was a little dry. we then had each net – 3 of us chose the steak and the other 2 selected chicken shish grilled chicken. my well-made steak was perfect and we all agreed that our main thing was in front of us. the young man who served our table was friendly, patient and efficient. You can sit inside or outside, but in winter we sat inside when it was huge. we bought 4 bottles of red wine to share. we would return to lunch."

"This is the latest eatery in king street to open their doors , an authentic Lebanese diner with an authentic Lebanese chef , this chef knows how to cook make no mistake however the problem is he is also teaching every one else in the kitchen his way of cooking , this means waiting too long for your order to arrive , one patron I saw complaining he'd been waiting 25 minutes for his order and it wasn't that busy , secondly the food arrives luke warm and maybe that's how they like it but I like it Hot , its new and operating a new crew so I guess hick ups will occur , they seem to miss all the morning trade as well as lunchtime passers by be it office workers and heaps of construction workers , this is a big costly mistake for future longevity . The presentation of the food is good but in my experience the pine kitchen will not survive unless some drastic measures are taken quickly , I know what I'd do"
