"Great little spot a bit like the small French bistros you find up the lanes in France. Friendly attentive staff . Owners father has a vineyard in WA and I had one of his blends which was excellent.They also stock micro brewery beer. Food was beautiful we had a pork dish with the best crackling we had had for a while and also large pasta ravioli cooked al dente.Would highly recommend a visit"

"My wife and I visited this restaurant for her birthday last year and really enjoyed it. We decided to to do the same this year. What we didn't realise was that it had changed hands. It soon became obvious that the new owners do not...have a clue... my steak was served rare instead of medium and the soufflé that we were looking forward to sharing wasn't cooked. When we sent this back to the kitchen there was no apology just two sparkling red wines arrived on our table. The evening was topped off by witnessing an argument between another dining couple and the head chef when the latter refused to honour a gift certificate. I hope that the gentleman took the new owners to Consumer Affairs. The actions of the head chef have no doubt lost this restaurant at least four customers, who will never return!"

"I’ve been to Epocha three times now and my husband four times. We visited on Friday Feb. on that particular night I just felt the entrees weren’t quite as good as usual. I had a prawn horseradish dish and my husband a steak tartare. But the main swordfish dish and duck potatoes were outstanding and the waitors/ waitresses service was excellent given our time constraints in getting to a live show."
