"Update of the 3rd year: ive was on the menu. I usually get the almond type, which is often to eat. it is absolutely perfect every time. I get the chicken balls from time to time and they are crispy and tasty. the Cashew Buddha friend is amazing. the ppl who work here are great2 year update: I tried a few spots near my home, but no offer the portions, ingredients or tears that I like. some other places supplement mais or mushrooms to the dish, not a fan. I get the almond boy regularly, it is the best in ottawa, as far as I am concerned. it comes with enough rice to enjoy the meal with (other places do not offer a rice or a tiny cup. what do I do with a cup)? old review: 5 stars because I enjoyed eating very much. eating is good, has decent ingredients, but it is good for Chinese. I have her shrimp-cashew court. garn was average size, not too small"

"This is our second order at St. Patrick Day and again we were not disappointed. There is Cantonese Chow mien the best, crispy beef fantastic and her egg rolls sooo good!! I would highly recommend it!"

"Life at home, and Work places change. One day it was a retail store, the next dayThe Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot restaurant.We drove by the restaurant a few times, but it wasn't until the restaurant advertised on a local discount coupon seller, that it caught my interest.No one we know had ever eaten there before.The location of the restaurant has lots of parking spaces accessed by three entrances from the main road. Once inside the restaurant, we waited at the reception desk, It was very busy inside.Finally, the host came and seated us at a table for four. Our server explained how the buffet and pictured items worked, but let out a few suggestions.In the center of our table is an element, to cook the Hot Pot of soup.So this is how you order at the Hot Pot.You are given a 8x11" page of paper, with four columns.Three of the columns are divided into four small columns:::The first column, each row is numbered, description of item, number of pieces.Second column, called Round 1 boxThird column, called Round 2 boxFourth column, called Round 3 boxTo order, First Column is divided into three parts.One - various types of soup broth (clear or spicy) served small, large, or half-half combination bowls), Two - sliced fresh meats, Three - other food items, assorted vegetables, noodles, and seafood.chose the item you want to eat,Now what we were not toldexample: if there two of you dining, chose button mushrooms and there are 3 pieces per order, and both of you want mushrooms,You would mark 2 in the box beside mushroom under the Round 1. giving you 6 pcs.Next time you want mushrooms, use Round 2 boxSo basically, you fill in all the Round 1 boxes, with what you would like to eat.After all the little dishes arriveFill in Round 2 boxes, with what you want to eatThen Round 3, if you still have room in your stomach.The Third main column is divided in two. The top half is for Dinner time food onlyThe bottom half shows the desserts available.The Fourth main column displays the lunch and dinner costs, as well as the assorted beverages.The element heated up the soup broth very quickly, Each diner deposits their food item choices in the broth, cooking until ready to eat. Two slotted spoons made it easy to fish out the items.None of the food items were spiced, but in the room was a sauce bar, where you can fill small bowls with sauces, for your table.Servers came frequently to replenish the soup broth, water glasses and beverage drinks.We ordered one Deep Fried Mini Bun - donut - topped with a sweet sauce. very good.Items we ordered :sliced fresh lamb, watercress, broccoli, sweet corn cob, potato slices, button mushrooms, Chinese dumplings, Chinese wonton, house made noodles, udon noodles, yellow noodles, crabsitck, shrimp headons, beef balls, shrimp balls, lamb balls, deep fried mimi bun, soda and hot tea.We would good to the Mongolian Hot Pot again, because the quality of the food was good, great service and friendly atmosphere . The decor of the room was smoothing, the seating was very generous.Our Dinner Cost:Basic dinner $21.99 x 2 = $43.98Large pot of soup $2.50One soda drink $1.99taxes $6.30tip $6.00Total $60.74Not a cheap Monday evening dinner out. We would recommend this restaurant."

"Ordered Saturday night takeout for 6 people. NG’s has a good online ordering system. We ordered in advance and then drive the approximate 20 minutes to get there. There was a slightly longer wait but it was evident that it was a very busy night for takeout. All dishes were fresh and flavourful. Only criticism was that the breaded shrimp could have been breaded more lightly. One of our “go to” places for Chinese food when in Ottawa. For dine in, ambiance could be be better and service could be a bit less chaotic…..but perfect for takeout."

"I have eaten here twice now and both times have been excellent. I had the shrimp wonton with rice noodle pho. The wontons appeared to be hand made and were very tasty.The pho nice and hot. Service was prompt and professional. The interior neat and clean.I would not hesitate to recommend this to family and friends"
