"There are now two Sushidos, one at Piccones shopping centre, Brinsmead and one near the airport. This review is about the Piccones shop. The cafe serves a variety of hot meals as well as a good array of fresh and enticing sushi rolls.Hot meals include okinomiyaki, katsu don, kaarage chicken and a range of noodles and curries. We shared the first three items on a recent visit and found them all to be extremely tasty and authentic. This is not a restaurant you go to for ambience - however it does have a lovely feel and the food is wonderful. Food prices do not change in the evenings making it an affordable dinner out. Sushido is a good Japanese option in the suburbs."

"I was initially put off the name soy boy, was a mental thing on my part. I'm so glad I didn't judge a restaurant by it's name and not give them a go. One word for the food: exquisite One word for portions: generous One word for presentation: gorgeous Three words to seal the deal: value for money. Soy boy is the closest thing to fine Asian dining in Cairns. The owners have decided to take a homely approach and it certainly feels that way. Expect great service, water that you never have to ask to be refilled. Attentive service with wait staff ready to mobilize at any given moment. Food that starts a party in your taste buds when they hit the tongue. Praise alone is insufficient to do soy boy justice. Try them, go for the food, stay for the hospitality."

"After being turned down twice as they were too full to take more bookings, we finally managed to get a booking the other day. And i can definitely say it was absolutely worth the wait. The food is super delicious. Not too fancy but nice decor and friendly staff. Loved it and had a great experience. Highly recommended. Will be back again."

"I visited family in fnq and was told about the delicious eating in siam orchid spicy. we decided to pick up a few courts and the oral reviews I had heard were very accurate. the service was fast and the meal was ready. for the collection on time. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, we could see that it was quite full. the atmosphere was relaxed and it looked as if it enjoyed an equal number of locals and visitors their meal. the decoration on both the inside and outside on the terrace is beneficial for formal or informal restaurants. my family said they had eaten there in a series of places with visiting friends and they were always satisfied with the service and dishes. we had the roasted duck curry that had just kicked enough to be noticeable, but not enough to pull off from the meal. the chicken and cashewnüsse were another great court. the purses that were immersed in an erdnus sauce were a real tasty bite. the only part of the meal we do not enjoy were the crackers who had a very strong garnish or fish taste and not exactly what we liked. Maybe other visitors would feel different. the cost for this delicious meal was very reasonable and I would highly recommend the place. Maybe I will also enjoy the obvious ambiente of the restaurant during the next visit."
