"Allez, que diriez-vous d’une paella.. !! C’est à peu près ce que nous a dit un de nos amis. Ni une ni deux il nous emmène déjeuner par cette belle journée de juillet au Ruedo. Niché à l’orée du quartier chaud des Pâquis, c'est un restaurant typique, bien dans son jus, où le temps semble s'être arrêté il y a quelques décennies déjà.Ce charme désuet vous met tout de suite à l’aise, presque autant que la patronne qui en salle (et en terrasse) joue à merveille le chef d’orchestre pour une partition sans faute. En cuisine c’est son mari qui fait chauffer le piano avec c’est vrai une certaine maitrise des cuissons.Bon mais alors cette paella elle est comment... ??Affichée au plat du jour pour une vingtaine de francs (tous les vendredis) elle était gouteuse, le riz parfaitement cuit ne donnait pas cette impression de lourdeur que l’on retrouve souvent ailleurs. La garniture de fruits de mer était suffisante en choix et en quantité. Comme nous sommes des gourmands, nous l’avons agrémenté avec des crevettes à l’ail, du poulpe à la Galicienne et enfin des calamarettis grillés qui se sont avérés être une vraie tuerie (je vous les conseille vraiment).La fraicheur de la marée était au rendez-vous et les saveurs nous on fait pour un temps en tout cas, voyager chez les Ibères.Bon vous l’aurez compris, moi j'ai adoré. Alors si vous aussi, vous voulez vivre un moment de dépaysement tout en vous régalant d’une cuisine gouteuse, c’est surement une des très bonnes adresses Espagnoles de la ville."

"Best fish restaurant with the best meat croquette ever. Every bite you will enjoy. And best service. We took the shrimps in garlic oil, the octopus, a calamari dish, the peperoni , the meat croquettes. And every bite we enjoyed. Every. And the service is just the best service you can imagine. Localisation near Cornavin station on a side street. We will defenitively return there"

"We were pleased with the quality of food. The seafood spaghetti was outstanding. But service was slow and patchy. Out of the staff, only could speak English. In itself, that's not a problem, but when they didn't understand us, they ignored us."
