"Steak was overly charred and lack flavour, expect a better quality steak for the price paid thus was disappointed. Only positive feedback is the staff were attentive and focaccia bread was excellent, apart from that really disappointing meal at skirt."

"Overall my dining experience here with my family was delightful. The service was good for most parts. Corkage for bringing our own wine is about 40. Food portions were decent, not generous but the quality of the food was mostly good. We had a few tapas, seafood paella a tad salty and the rice level was less than a cm thick, definitely not the traditional paella portions u can find in Spain and the roasted suckling pig. The highlight for dinner was definitely the suckling pig, enough to feed 4 6 on average. 2 issues to raise: 1. Price of wine was definitely on the high side, consumers today are armed with information, most of the wine are tagged at a much higher premium to what you can buy on your own, add 40 80 to any bottle plenty of wine sites in Singapore . I do feel that the dining experience will be better with more reasonable pricing. While I understand about profits, it is a question of whether the restaurant chooses regular stream of customers versus one time disgruntled customers who balked at the high prices. 2. The server commented that the wine I brought was corked had wet newspaper smell , however my bottle cork was synthetic plastic cork type hence not possible and I had a wine chiller at home. It was fine. Regardless, I do feel that the comment is unnecessary especially when the customer brings his own wine."

"Tasted very Italian for my taste buds. Interior deco are also classic Italian. Food taste real good. Service is also top notch. Only short fall on the day when we are there is short handed according to the waiter. Hence waited 30min for every dish to be serve. Hence a 3 course meal lasted 2 hour. Price are on the high side."

"Right from the time we arrived. Well looked after, menu explained in detail, drinks followed and flowed then came the food. Kilo Ceviche outstanding and Korean tartare a must try again for me on our next visit from Melbourne. Once finished just head downstairs for cleanser to Camp Kilo, happy days!"

"The ramen at Takagi are very affordable for the average Singaporean. Craving for some spiciness, we ordered the Karaka and their seasonal Chilli Crab Ramen. Initially I thought how spicy can Japanese Ramen get, right? Then I realise I was wrong. The spicy ramen here at Takagi are really spicy. I enjoyed both the flavourful ramen especially that Ajitama Egg that is done well with runny egg yolk. We also ordered the Nori Tempura with Truffle Mayo and their most popular Deep Fried Gyoza. Love the crispiness in both the side dish that added a crunch to our meals."
