"I enjoyed my feta and pumpkin tart. Salad was average. My friend had been looking forward to her pumpkin risotto. But was very disappointed. All you could taste was onion, was more like onion risotto. I tasted it too. It was inedible. My friend has never had to send a meal back before. The staff member was very helpful n offered her a replacement meal, my friend chose a Moroccan lamb pie which was nice and she requested a cake to make up the price of the risotto we'd paid for. The two cakes they gave us were delicious. We were happy with the service... just avoid the risotto"

"Absolutely fabulous place to eat. Relaxed much quieter than other places in the main area of Daylesford. I had the rib eye, which was cooked to perfection melt in your mouth. My partner had the seafood basket which was excellent also. The only criticism I have is that the food was a little salty for my taste, but aside from that, just perfect. We shared a Sticky Date pud for dessert it's quite possibly the best I've ever had. Overall 9/10"

"I would have stayed but the place was like an icebox; it was so cold that I decided on the spot to opt for takeout instead. I ordered chicken curry and steamed rice. The curry chicken sauce appeared as though it may have contained either cornflour or rice flour; and the faint curry flavour had absolutely zero 'zing' to it. Very disappointing."

"After a wonderfully relaxing Pamper Package at Queensberry Studio before we'd eaten, we took the advice to head to the cafe in Wombat Gardens for a late lunch and were not disappointed.I had the burger in a black brioche bun with a glass of Shiraz, and my lovely wife choose the salami, chorizo plus pizza with a glass of Pinot Noir. Both meals were excellent, and as we were enjoying ourselves so much, we stayed for sweets as well (lemon & coconut cake and lemon and lime tart). Bit miffed I missed out on the lemon meringue tart and scones with jam and cream, but they were clearly very popular having run out before I got the chance.Staff were pleasant and helpful.Happy to pass on this recommendation that was given to us ...."
