"I 'm all for Rebecca 's and wish them great success. The owners have done an exemplary job of trading up the boring interior of their new location for a colorful, interesting vibe. Great job on the renovations! The service at Rebecca 's is prompt and responsive. The food needs some attention. The salad was beautifully presented but the dressing needed a little livening up. The sandwich I had was slippery and I didn 't care for it at all. I will return to this place knowing that it will get much better as it goes along. It 's a welcome larger restaurant for Mahone Bay and the repairs they are making to the building will make it as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. I went to Rebecca 's at their NEW location a second time this summer. The decor at this location is finally living up to its potential and the inside of the restaurant is super pleasant. There is also a stone patio with a wonderful view of Mahone Bay. Still, based upon the comments of my fellow company of six, I think Rebecca needs to totally rethink the menu over the winter and opt for very high quality pub food reminiscent of the Knot Pub in Lunenburg. God knows the local pub is awful, Rebecca 's sole Mahone Bay fine dining wannabe rival is mediocre at best, and the field is open for a really good BASIC food offering in Mahone Bay. Rebecca 's now has a wonderful space and she can make it happen if she chooses."

"After deciding late to get a bite in downtown Mahone Bay we realized almost every restaurant was closing for 9pm. Bayside is now a Pizza, Donair & Beer cafe. We had hoped for a more traditional meal but, was happy to find some kind of hot food. I anticipated tearing off any wheat product to make do but, was happy when they offered up gluten free crust. Ya! Service was fast, the Pizza was Fresh but, my mans Thin Crust needs some thinning! If your in the mood for fast food fare there the only place in Mahone Bay. Wish they would reduce the bright lighting some too so I don't need to put my sunglasses on inside."

"After trying Lobster Jo’s in 2017, I waited anxiously for the 2018 season to begin and it did not disappoint! The flavoured mayos are beyond delicious, especially the lemon pepper! Hands down the best lobster rolls in NS!"

"My favorite eating place in Mahone Bay. A bit quieter because you are up stairs. Good view of the water. I don't drink, but full selection of craft ales and bartender drinks. A bit of a hike eastward from the main shopping. I like it, because after my meal I walk a short distance to the boat yard area and stroll the public area. Good way to settle the meal. Also, a good birding store next door."

"A rustic pub with a super server. I had the fish and chips, and both, fish and fries were very darkly fried and very cross, which was not to my liking. The fries portion was also a bit on the small side, found it under my fish. But my hubby liked the potato skins very much, he had them without bacon, as a vegetarian. There are not many vegetarian options on the menu.The best thing about our visit was our waiter, Evan, super attentive, super quick and an absolute delight!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, but not many.Wheelchair accessibility: It is up a flight of stairs, so probably not."
