"Too many hard chairs and stools, and not much room in the beer and wine drinking tables area. It would be hard to settle in for a session here as no cushions means a sore backside. Beer (bitter) was okay but a bit too hoppy for my taste without much other flavour."

"I just ate the Mega Breakfast the Bathers Café and felt the need to share how wonderful it was. the view of the sea is amazing, parking was easy to find and eating was excellent. it is one of the hidden gems of newcastle."

"Have eaten here before and always good. Today not up to usual standard. Ordered 2 x bacon egg rolls. Very minimal rocket and my roll was missing the egg. My hubby was very impressed saying "wow 2 eggs on the rolls now" I opened mine and had none so presumed one of his eggs were mine. Lucky for me, he shared. Coffee over-expressed today. Sorry guys. Will be back but if same as today won't be"

"The food, owners and atmosphere was nothing but amazing. I got the eggs Benedict as I always do and they do it with pulled pork! Such a great twist with no ridiculous pricing. Very reasonable and a great experience overall! Definitely pop in if you...can and support local!"

"A great authentic French bar that once was an old bank in its day. Acoustically its good as Duo's and soloists often play on Weekends. The staff try their best however service can be a bit slow at times for drinks."

"Had the vegan burrito with falafel on it called the chickpeas Burrito, it was a little dry. Also had the vegetarian burrito that had vegien and tofu on them, but made it vegan by removing the cheese and acidic cream. I personally liked the Tofu one more. They also sell corn chips with guacamole and salsa, which was good. They have both interior and exterior seats. The exterior seats are both at the front and back in a private area from the road."
