"Love this place: authentic and tasty no precedent just good solid curries always fast and they even have us some freebies for our habit, it is closed on a Monday and Tuesday, so we have tried somewhere else in Kew, the good reviews will get big berries my Takeaway budget for weeds until Sunday next time!"

"Nice looking restaurant/bar and very quiet, even on a Thursday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not particularly trained. The food was overall disappointing: for a French restaurant, you would expect good bread, but the bread that came w/the moules was an underbaked store-bought baguette and the burger was extremely dry (although cooked medium ? and served on backyard bbq buns like those that come 6 for £1 at Tescos. On the flip side, the beef bourguignon was delicious, as was the lamb dish tried by our friends. The French onion soup was mediocre, but the apple tart was also amazing. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but there are so many better options that I don 't see us coming back to Le Baron."

"I ate here for the first time recently with some friends from work. This is probably one of the nicest Indian meals I’ve had. A couple of us shared a chicken Gurkha, which is cooked with fresh green chillies, ginger, tomatoes, peppers, and onions and is nice and spicy but not too hot. We also shared another chicken dish, I forget the name of, which was also lovely. For starters, I had onion bhaji’s and in one portion, four pieces came out. Great service, great food and would definitely eat here again."

"This was my first visit to this fish chip restaurant, as I was taking an elderly friend who has been many times before. I’m not a lover of fish chips, having had bad experiences elsewhere. However, I was most impressed by the friendly team and the fantastic way they looked after my friend. We ordered cod and chips, one small and one large, one with mushy peas and one with onion rings. The portion sizes were well worth every penny spent and the food tasted excellent. I loathe huge amounts of heavy batter, so I was delighted to find just the right amount, which was not oily. Chips were excellent. My friend enjoyed her mushy peas as much as I enjoyed my onion rings. We both had a cup of tea with our meal. Although we were going to go for a dessert, it was not to be as we were both full, and extremely satisfied!! I see from some people’s reviews that they are negative about the decor. Sure, it’s a little dated, but it’s absolutely fine, clean and more than serves its purpose. Likewise I see sone moan about the food. Speaking as I find, I had no qualms whatsoever. I’d definitely return anytime and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. As the restaurant now take card payment, it makes life so much easier. Well done to the entire team. We will be back, for sure!!"
