"The new location on Keira Street was under whelming. Gone is the old look of the globe lane site to now a smaller restaurant with no real character. Putting that aside, we enjoyed a nice lunch. Beer options are good, burger choice is good but a little pricey when you add sides. Burger chips and a beer not much change from $30. Our party of 4 left satisfied but not convinced this will be a regular stop for our weekly lunches in town."

"Dinner at the Char Char Bar & Grill was nothing short of delightful. Food was flavoursome, (meat oh so tender) and the service was attentive, but not overwhelming. The menu provides lots of options but probably not so many for vegetarians - this is a steak place and they do it superbly!There is also an amusing little list of cocktails. The "Gong Girl" is a particularly easy-to-drink one, but beware the punch it packs!Great place with great food, atmosphere and service. We didn't book but it would be worth checking before you roll up. Highly recommend!!"

"Walking in off the street without a reservation to this restaurant, we were lucky that there had been a recent cancellation. Very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff. Recommend for entrée the pizzetta alla sarda to share. Mains we enjoyed the ossobucco and scaloppina san remo served with vegetables. The food was delicious with generous servings."

"When late night hunger gets the better of you, Hot Chilli Food House is the place to be! Really friendly staff, prompt service, and heaps of options for the fussy and for appetites of all sizes. They even offer delivery which is perfect for those who have no means of getting into town! My current go to food right now is a mixed kebab with garlic and barbecue sauce. I am slowly trying out the whole menu too. Everything is fresh even their homemade sauces. Definitely will be back!"

"Among the best Indian I have had in Australia, including desserts. Service was slow at Sunday lunch, do not go if short on time or patience! Ill rate it 5 star for the food nevertheless. PS they also have a small outdoor seating area with a partial ocean view"
