"It wasn't great. Our waitress was basically doing everything while everyone else stood around. She was great and did her best. The floor was sticky, dirty. Food was overcooked and pancakes were hard around the edges. At one point I felt the staff was bickering (kitchen staff, and front end. We have been here before and it was much better (service and food I'm aware it's hard to find employees rn. I give overall 3 stars but our waitress was a good one I give her 5 stars..... believe the receipt said Abigail was her name."

"This place is bomb for some authentic Italian food. I usually come here before a Wizards game. Everything is cooked fresh. Pizza and pasta entrees average $10-15 with 2 slices of bread. This location is always kept very clean and the chefs are great at multitasking. They can easily be making 2 pastas while taking on 3 more orders. Don't expect a long wait and to spent a lot here. 1 pasta or entree dish will be enough. I always go for the risotto, any pizza, carbonara or any pasta with pesto. I don't like how they charge you 3-5 for extra meat, but it's really small portions. Also with the card system everyone is paying at the same time when they leave. So you've got the hostess greeting people, taking payment and sometimes orders it can be chaotic during dinner time. Wish there was a way to expedite the process. Try the spicy olive oil at your table if you like spice."

"Prices are very reasonable and food quality is consistently good. Their homemade white bread is fantastic, definitely makes their breakfast sandwich something worth craving. If you find yourself there during the fall season make sure to check if they’re serving the pumpkin cheesecake crepes, they’re amazing!"

"Overall it was a great dining experience. The restaurant wasn't overly loud and it had an intimate vibe. We felt secluded enough in our table. The service was a bit slow to start, we waited over 20 min just to get our drink orders in. But then it picked up and we got our 5 course sampler and it was great. Some of the best food I've had."

"My vegan burger was very chewing and stick to the teeth. the pomegranate limonade was good. other elements on the menu look interesting, so will give another visit. the server are polite and friendly and the ambiente is very elegant and vibrant, both inside and outside. 5/5 on sustainability as they have not used single-use items."

"This is the kind of restaurant/bar located on my alley. It is not a huge restaurant, but has a lot of seating, and this is specialized in South Inspired food, and has an excellent, but not a wide choice of whisky. The service is friendly and hospitable, and I would say the mood here is jovial. I came here with my cousin on his recommendation because we were looking for a place to drink. We sat at the bar and I wasn't super hungry, but I really wanted to try something. I think I ordered a pecan/banana pudding cake or something. The food itself looked amazing when I saw people order it, but I think we had already eaten dinner at that time. So Dessert should have done this. The main reason we wanted to go there was for the whisky. There is no great selection, but there is a very remarkable and it is also really good. But what I love in this place is that this is one of those places where you find it hard to get a bottle that is not too expensive. Sure, there can be a light charge, but nothing ridiculous. If you are creative or simple quality South food, and really good whisky at reasonable prices, this is a must to visit."
