"Set up in a container with only outdoor seating this is a delightful spot overlooking the Clyde river. Fresh oysters and prawns and a BYO bottle of Pinot Grigio. It doesn't get much better than this. And apparently the coffee is good too."

"I went to the Catalina Club today with friends and got my usual lunch when at the coast, a Seafood Basket. l was shocked! This was the Best Seafood Basket in years. All perfectly cooked fresh and tasty and a full size serve. I went...and told the staff to send my complements to the chef, something I have also not done for years. they asked me to do this review. My only one ever..."

"We had Christmas and New Years along with a Birthday party during December and January and purchased dozens of oysters in 5 dozen lots during and within a month. Everyone at the family get togethers and the party was very grateful to the Local Family who are proud owners and run their own business and have so ever since I can remember and we all to went to school together. The oysters are so fresh, one would think you were sitting beside the river whilst the person opened them. They have a lingering taste that can only be described as heavenly delicious and everyone enjoyed them. I went back to get more but only found an empty tray of ice where they once sat, beckoning me to eat more of them. We will be back my friends. Thank you"

"This restaurant is attached to the Esplanade Motor Inn in Batemans Bay. We had dinner here and the service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The menu wasn't large, though plenty of choice.I had the Beef Cheek Ragout with gnocci, peas and peccorino. Very tasty and tender. My husband had the skirt steak with cauliflower puree and thrice cooked chips. Also delicious and tender. I can highly recommend the Tirramissu for dessert.We had our breakfast there the next morning as well and there were plenty of choices including eggs, cereal and fruit."

"Just had lunch there. The view of the water is great, today being windy it was extra special. I had the King Fish and others had filet steak all good. Batemans Bay is a very pretty Place and having somewhere on the water to eat is excellent.Will go again."

"This definitely is a hidden secret. Upstairs over the Mexican restaurant it overlooks the bay. The food was good and the service was great. BYO meant we could bring our own which kept the price down. A good place to visit for couples, family and friends."

"Best food and service in the bay excellent cannot be faulted will definitely be back probably the only place in Batemans with table cloths. I had lamb blackstrap and my wife duck both where excellent the chef knows what he or she is doing even the vegetables where perfect. Please stay in the bay and don’t go to the big smoke"

"Revolting. Fish, calamari and chips tasted like old oil that hadn't been changed in months. The fish was fresh, but the oily, stinky batter ruined it. The calamari was rubbery, the chips were hardly cooked. Literally inedible, we threw ours in the bin after spending $40! Wasn't worth eating something that tasted so terrible. We will never be back. Don't go here unless you enjoy the stink of old oil."
