"Really interesting restaurant format, which I experienced for dinner on a Saturday night. Sit down in the private and intimate cafe setting, off the street in the heart of Surfers, and place yourself in the capable hands of Marco - a passionate chef with a flair for food and a focus on customer service. No set menu, just a set price $25 per head. He brought out a salad and three/four choices of freshly cooked pizza/pasta. Lovely culinary exploration. Wonderful food, and a setting which allows for great conversation."

"Anne was the only reason we stayed. People next to us sat down after we ordered and still got food first. Overpriced, cold steak that was undercooked. Sent back to warm up and was still cold but waited so long we just ate it anyway. Fries were cooked in dirty oil and tasted like calamari. Anne was obviously stressed literally running but kept her cool with first class service. I assume she was running things because we didn’t see anyone else. Man who seated us was hardly even there. Even offered my 5yr old ice cream after he waited over an hour for dinner Please give Anne a raise. She deserves it."

"I would only recommend eating at this restaurant when using a voucher. The food was satisfactory with no wow factor and the presentation and service were both average. The lunch menu itself was basic when using a voucher. It is a pity because we had been looking at this restaurant for somewhere to try for ages."

"Went there for lunch with a group of people. Took ages to be served ended up going to the counter to place an order. 1 of the orders was a steak cooked medium. It was charcol on the outside and brown on the inside. Only when you got right to the middle was it a touch pink. Advised waiter of how it was and he took it back and said he would get a new one. Another waiter came out a few min later and said that the chef cut it up and was happy with the way he cooked it. They then offered to bring it back to the table. For some one who enjoys a medium steak it was not an acceptable dish! We did not want a meal back that had been chopped up by the chef. They refused to re cook, we did not pay for the steak but one of our guests ended up with no meal!!! The other meals were passable. Chips were way over cooked. I would suggest a new chef, one who can cook."
