"The food is just sensational, this was my second visit everything on the menu is amazing, it’s my favourite restaurant and my guests yesterday now also have a new favourite restaurant. Dietary restrictions: The waiters’ menu knowledge is exceptional, they didn’t have to run to the kitchen to check the dietary with the chef, they knew the menu. Meal type: Lunch"

"Kensington Street is an up and coming food Street in Sydney with a variety of food options. I visited Automata this evening and tried their 5-course set menu. <br>

Service was excellent, the team was friendly, affable and helpful. I like how they smile and attend to each and every diner patiently.<br>

I have visited several fine dining spots before Automata. I can remember the tasty potato bread with daishi at Ester, the confit trout at Tetsuya's, the Japanese stones at Sepia or the Granny's apple at Lumi. However, I find that there may be nothing at Automata which is memorable. <br>

Food is not bad and they were wonderfully prepared. I like how the main dishes were served warm and the dessert is served cold. Some restaurants have pre-prepared their food and it's annoying to take your food at room temperature (20 degrees). <br>

However, they were not exceptional.<br>

"Great atmosphere as I could sit in this small courtyard all day. great service and friendly atmosphere. as far as eating is concerned, I recommend the winter veggies on polnta w salsa verde wow a solid as for cheeseburger hubbie does not like the soße, but unlike that of standard sydney quality. would give around for super doggie friendly. "Amazing restaurant located on Kensington street serving wonderful Sicilian dishes that pop and burst with flavour. My favourites are ‘Risone’ Pasta with Red Wine, Braised Octopus and Bone Marrow, Warm Sicilian Caponata with Fresh Buffalo Ricotta Cheese and the ''Amedei’ Chocolate and Caramel Mille-feuille with Vanilla Oil and Smoked Sea salt.
