"The customer service upon arrival by the hostess was terrible. Told us we needed to pull our mask up while every employee in the restaurant had mask down below there nose. Then another family came in and had a similar situation and the same hostess went on to scream at the husband and called him an hole, this was the most bizarre behavior I have seen in a restaurant during the whole pandemic. The manager went on to defend his employee, needless to say we did not sit down for a meal, seeing the carelessness of employees and the manager we did not feel comfortable. In addition, the atmosphere and smell of the place just seemed stale and outdated, definitely would not recommend this place with all the other options within a few minute walk. Hopefully they can straighten everything out because we really liked the one in NYC."

"We had an awesome time at Franklin Fountain today! We had a strobarry ice cream and orange ice cream soda. Both were delicious! If you are new in town definitely check it out...you won't be disappointed!!"

"It was pretty crowded when we went and the service was slow. Our plates came out very sporadically and the water refills were space. The compound butter on the French toast was cold and made the French toast soggy, but the toast itself had good flavor. The biscuits and gravy also tasted pretty good. The accompanying potatoes didn't have enough flavor and didn't have the right texture for me. Cinnamon roll was good (I'd give it a 4 out of 5) and all the drinks were good. Cheese curds were a great appetizer and had nice sauce on the side. Overall, I wish I could give them a 3.5 star rating."

"This place is so lovely and quirky. The ambience is very bright and uplifting, the staff are quick moving, friendly, and happy to make recommendations! I had the scallion tuna sandwich. She told me it's partially made from white beans, but the texture is really incredible. The bread was fresh and soft, the lettuce/tomato crisp. My partner got the Mac and cheese with coconut bacon and the chips and dip. He loved the dips one was a kind of sneaky spicy and the other was less spicy but still flavorful. He wasn't super into the Mac bc of the coconut bacon, but I thought it was great. (He can write his own review We also got mochas. The homemade soymilk is really delicious and if you haven't had it, get it plain, warm, and lightly sweetened! I had it in a mocha so it wasn't very sweet, but it did the trick!"

"Dim Sum House by Jane G's, located near Penn University Campus, is an excellent choice for a fair priced and reliably good meal! Enjoyed a few Dim Sum choices along with Honey Vinegar Spare Ribs and topped off with Jasmine Tea for a fullfilling lunch. Alcoholic beverages available as well as many non alcoholic choices. The seating area is comfy and roomy enough as it does get busy at times. Overall, a really good choice for a quick meal in the University area."
