"This review is for the Main Street location.I had not been to Johnny G’s in a couple years, but stopped in yesterday after missing my bus. Had the smokehouse(? I think. The one with bacon. Slightly burnt. Service was awful. Literally acted like it...was a bother I walked in the door. No check back, had to go get my bill while 3 girls chatted it up. Probably only got my food because the dude watching the front door brought it out."

"The one who took the order via drive thru sounded very uninterested. Paid for 2 double bacon cheese burger with onion rings. Waited for 15 mins to get our orders, needed to remind them about our drinks. When we got home, we got 2 regular cheese burger with overly salted fries. Will never go back. Fyi, Maddie is the name on the receipt."

"Delicious is one of my favourite Winnipeg restaurants, even though I am not a vegetarian. The food is all very well-prepared and flavourful, and it's very consistent. I particularly love the tofu in peanut sauce, the eggplant in black bean sauce, and the deep fried mushrooms (mmmmmm . Their soups are also very impressive, as they make very tasty stocks without any meat. The restaurant is nicely decorated with black and white photos of Winnipeg, and the staff (owners? are very friendly. Strongly recommend!"

"We were big fans of the food when they were in Osborne village. The food is still amazing and the staff are very helpful. My favourite, the beet and potato latkes, is served with 2 perfectly poached eggs, velvety creme fraiche and generous fresh fruit. Menno omelette was unusual, sauerkraut and cheese, and very tasty. Prices are very reasonable for the ample portions.Loads of parking available in the strip mall or nearby streets."
