"I don't ever leave a bad review but had to this time. The service was appallingly slow, the scruffy waiter wore muddy trainers and one of the waitresses seemed drunk. We asked for a wine cooler twice and eventually what can only be described as a plastic bag containing ice was delivered. The tiny candle wasn't lit despite asking twice, the table was left a disaster between each course and the food was less than mediocre with a grey mini corn in my unappealingly bland Thai tofu curry. The only redeeming factor was an apology from a waitress (blaming 2 broken fryers for the delay) and a free dessert each which didn't make up for spending over £80 for four basic meals which took 40 minutes and were less interesting than a frozen TV dinner."

"I left a review for this place four years ago and I could not have been happier with the food back then however the food has really gone downhill. Yesterday we ordered chips, sausage in batter, chicken nuggets, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The chips were way to small, crispy and dry. There were not enough large and soft chips. Pretty much all of the chips were not very nice. This has been the main problem with the food this last year, the chips. They are just not good enough. The chicken nuggets and sausage in batter had been cooked too fast. The meat inside was barely cooked through but the batter had been overdone and was way too crunchy. The nuggets were also too oily, didn’t taste very nice and had some gristle. The onion rings had been overcooked and could have broken teeth. Also, other people who came in after me, got served before me which was a bit frustrating. This place is not good value for money when the food that you are paying for isn’t cooked properly and isn’t a good quality. This is the closest place to my home but I’m going to give up going here and find a new chip shop."

"When we arrived the table was dirty so we had to clear it The person running the wimpy bar was shouting a member of staff so they walked out We placed our order after waiting about 10 minutes by the usual lovely lady and was still waiting 40 minutes later when the man who was shouting came over to take our order AGAIN I said we had been waiting a long time and he went away tutting Finally got our order which was wrong but couldn’t be bothered to wait another 40 minutes so didn’t say anything The shouting man was at the till even though he was meant to be cooking as there was 6 orders waiting I explained what we ordered wasn’t what we got and he basically said tough and we should pay for what we ordered regardless it’s not what we got Very rude elderly Italian man who couldn’t cope and we won’t be back ... thanks to him"

"Booked for Mother's Day, staff were very nice and waitress was friendly. The food was poor and not very enjoyable and was tainted by the disgusting smell of dirty dishwater from the plates! Made me feel ill to be honest. It was pointed out to waitress who said it was probably the dishwasher!! Yuk"
