"Went for a takeaway was told the pizzas were slightly well done after looking asked them to re do as more than slightly well done! Said no! Blamed the flour and said it would happen again. Asked for money back was refused. Also ordered 2 types of pizza but both were done the same including an ingredient not liked but 1 of the people. The beans were stone cold. The staff were generally rude and uninterested in even being there."

"Absolutely marvellous plates of fish and chips. Lovely beer battered cod and haddock. The chips weren’t too shabby either. Home made not the commercial ones. Would highly recommend to anyone."

"Clean and friendly. Not tried everything. Chips are mostly good...and you get a nice big portion. Fish is also good but can sometimes be a little greasy. Nice curry sauce if you are a fan!"

"Staff great, Manager runs around like headless chicken, food good but was luke warm which totally ruined it for us. . Very short staffed by the look of it. No radiators switched on so the place was really cold at 4pm and people were keeping their coats on including us!! (totally unacceptable and a bit of a pee take). The wife switched two radiators on around the restaurant, which then started to heat up nicely. Are you trying to save money by keeping the radiators off Brewers Fayre? Never asked for feedback about the meal by any member of staff. Its no surprise, Brewers Fayre are giving away heavily discounted meal vouchers. Is this to keep the place a float? We are new to the area and I have to say this is our first and LAST visit. We wont be back."
