"We were looking for somewhere for good fish and chips on a day trip to Bridlington. The Trawl had good reviews on Tripadvisor, so we decided to give it a try. We had a very friendly welcome from the staff and shown into a dining room that while clean and smart looked to be from the 1960s (a period my wife and I both remember! I ordered cod and my wife ordered haddock. The fish tasted like it had just been landed, with lovely crispy, flavoursome batter, and the chips were the best that either of us have had for years. I remember being treated to fish and chips with my parents in the 60s and remembering it all as much tastier than the offerings today. The Trawl matched up to all those years ago. Absolutely superb, good value, no frills, and great service. Wow! On leaving, I mentioned how much we had enjoyed it, and the waitress told me their secret. They were great in the 1960s and have never changed anything about the way they do things. It has always been the same, and she told me people have always loved their food. We will definitely be back"

"Really delicious fish and chips. expect them to be for the time that this place is popular. there are also very limited seats for demand. prices are a touch high that prevents the full 5* review, but really, very good and I would recommend this takeaway over most others in bridlington"

"Since coming to live near Bridlington 4 years ago I think we’ve tried nearly all the fish chip shops. And North Beach Fish Chips beats all the rest by a country mile. The fish is consistently superb firm and flaky with a very nice batter. And the chips are excellent too. The staff are very friendly. And best of all they tell me it’s now open every day, as long as it isn’t raining. I do believe there is no better to be found!"
