"Great find!! We had a lovely meal, friendly welcome and great service. I had the Fish Pie awesome, Hubby had the Roast beef and daughter had Hunter chicken. All meals were served with fresh vegetables and the homemade chips are fab. We were also tempted to puddings which were delicious. Only fault was my latte coffee which I sent back but the replacement wasn't much better very watery and no coffee taste. Great value for money £55 for 3 meals and drinks and 2 puddings."

"I’m a bit bemused by the positive reviews for this place. There are only two vegan mains on the menu both are quite predictably bean-based (quinoa/bean burger fajitas). You can get bean tacos or cauliflower fritters to start. Maybe I’ve been spoilt in other restaurants but I found the lack of options disappointing and pretty unimaginative. Food was alright but I wouldn’t go back."

"Still open during lockdown in the evening, closing at 8pm. Only two allowed in the shop at a time, for social distancing, which is great, but I was the only customer in there at the time anyway and my fiance waited in the car. Lovely friendly staff. Ordered freshly battered large haddock with chips and mushy peas. Absolutely delicious, so fresh and clean tasting. The batter on the fish was lovely, not too thick and stodgy, just enough and crisp. Best fish and chips we have had for a long time! They do a variety of meals and homemade sauces too. It's obviously well looked run and we will be back!"

"Usually travel up the A 55 to the coast with it being bank holiday went the scenic route through Denbigh and came across thevHope Anchor by chance What a gem the Kamb dinner was excellent and I finished off with apple crumble custard 2 drinks 2 meals 2 sweets for a touch over £20 in total the bargain of the week If you like frozen or tinned veg this is definetly not the place for you I will be doing the scenic route quite often from now on"

"Blas Clwyd Cafe offers excellent home cooked food that hits the spot. My wife and I went today, she had the minted lamb hotpot and i Beef Mushroom pie. Both served with chips and peas and a hot drink of your choice for just under a tenner.The food and service was great, and by the look of it we weren’t the only people who appreciate the cafe as the place was busy.Desserts looked nice but we had no room for those."
