"Gluten free/ coeliac avoid. Clear supply chain issue. As someone with a gluten allergy I was given a burger (after ordering from the gf menu and being assured by the restaurant) found that it was in fact a normal gluten burger. The bar refunded the tab and gave me a free drink and steak. The pub handled a bad situation well. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1"

"Wonderful pub and staff!! My mother loved the fish and chips. Our waiter max was able to swap the mushy peas to garden peas and was very helpful. Definitely recommend to go. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Rubarb Crumble, Battered Fish and Chips, Three Cheese and Mushroom Pizza"

"Had a take away on more than one occasion, the fish has been excellent and tried the lamb kebab today which was outstanding. Beautifully tender, tasty lamb and an interesting fresh well presented salad. The take-away service is quick and reliable."

"We've used Carleys Fish Bar for around 18 month's. We used to really enjoy the quality and value of the food we were served but recently there has been a rapid decline in the quality that we had grown accustomed to. The 30 minute round trip seemed worth our while but we will no longer be using Carleys Fish bar for the following reason's: The portions of chips are full of inedible, dry scraps. The scraps are used to bulk out the chips from beneath making it seem as though you have a reasonable portion! Half the tray has to be thrown away! This was the same for all three large portions of chip's. Ordered 3 pieces of southern fried chicken and was given 3 dry legs, no variety! Ordered medium Cod and was given a very, very tiny piece of mangled Fish, I don't even think it was cod! Lastly the length of the battered sausages has got smaller! It's such a shame but it seems that there has been a gradual decline in overall quality in recent month's."

"I think that if your going to a cheese and wine resturant then the owner shouldn't run out of crackers which is expected when eating cheese Also no grapes and a hair in between the cheese I think some could easily have been brought as there is a shop just across the road But it does have a nice feel"

"Nice pub! Nice staff. Beautiful surroundings. Hot, delicious and fresh food. In the garden are pods that are private and remote. Very nice for a group of 4 to 12 ish. Heating lamps in everyone to keep warm and boy! Do it! Very nice experience! Great job guys!"
