"The Oxtail Stew and Plantains were excellent. Very cozy place, but I loved the ambiance. Staff was nice. They do charge between $1.60 to $1.80, can't recall exactly, to swipe your card, but it is so worth it."

"Good Italian food. Old world style. Wait staff is excellent. Was there for a birthday- mine. Party of 8. Steaks were perfect. Great wings and apps. I had to send my roast beef sandwich back because it was burnt bread. FF were cold. Meat cold. Sat in the window way to long. Can't believe the cook let that slide. ? they redid the order promptly and it was fine. I spent 47yrs working in the kitchen. Many long and stressful hrs on the line. But, when you burn ? the birthday guys bread,... i shoot him! But overall a very good quality Italian restaurant ??"

"I have been going for several years, but not often recently. I had forgot why the drop off, so I decided to go for Mother 's day with my family. I was quickly reminded why I do not go anymore. It took over 1 hour for food to arrive. I spoke with server multiple times to find out what the situation was she replied with a response of (paraphrasing well, it 's mother 's day today, a lot of people came, we have only one cook in the back. she spoke over me when I was trying to talk trying to further give excuses. When the manager came, she did apologize, half-heartedly, but she did not want to engage and just kept on throwing us discount or taking something off the bill without addressing the issue of the wait, lack of staff and response from the server. The manager just wanted to close the situation by changing the bill. the table next to us felt the same way and they told us they were happy that we said something. Frankly, having one cook in the back should not be the customer 's issue. Knowing that it was Mother 's day should have warranted appropriate staffing. The customer should not have to suffer due to this and also it puts their servers and managers in a bad spot, as it was not their decision to have only one cook. This was the same experience on multiple occasions with only one cook in the back (last time they got the orders wrong at that too! . Needless to say, I will not be coming back. Ownership needs to really reflect on how they want to move forward. I believe that the good years of this place have passed. without some significant changes, I do not believe that they can sustain themselves. I believe the only reason why they stay in business is the lack of other sushi places and their location."
