"Banff is super busy, and so it was really nice to find a quiet (er) place to dinner. the maclab bistro is located in the banff centre and offers a magnificent view of the mountains. there was an elk on the hill right next to the terrace, which was on a bit rough while we had dinner. the service was also very friendly. we ordered the vegan Mezze cellar to start. other than that and the fries (which come with a non-vegan aioli), there is not really a vegan starter to share. the mezze platter was really good. we enjoyed the three different types of hummus, and the zitrus tahini dressing on the salat was delicious. I ordered the vegan maclab burger with a side salad for my head, and it was a decent meal. the patty was made with quinoa and other grains and was quite delicious. there was a chutney on the burger I really enjoyed. all in all that eating was decent, which was out of sight was breathtaking, and I enjoyed the meal."
