"We always wanted to try Côte so thought we 'd do just that. Sadly the food and presentation were average and nothing to be wowed over. The sea bass came over loaded with so many peas it was rediculous. (Prezzo seabass was sooo much tastier). The 'fresh ' juices also tasted like they were concentrated. Starters: Crispy Whitebait, Mains: Pan fried Seabass, Dessert: Tarte Au Citron. All in all the dessert was the best and was very tasty and we 'd go there just to try the variety of desserts. The Customer service was good, but we were served by 3 different people. It 's nice when it 's just one person serving you."

"We were invited to a Christmas party. The hotel and venue was good, well the food was very poor. Starters tomato soup cold ,main course veg cold and under cooked so hard you couldn't cut it the stuffing well just a mush, brussels didn't get any was told they where like bullets, some people got a splash of gravy others there plate was swimming. Sweet Cheese cake was like rock. Coffee was ok. i am sorry to say at £60.00 a head very Poor"

"Went yesterday for a Sunday roast and I have to say how impressed I was with everything. Great music on a Sunday afternoon got a few people nodding their heads and singing along. I had a really nice pint of IPA which was a bit like punk IPA and very reasonably priced. Then we had our lunch which was priced at £11 per head. I accidentally ordered roast pork and I am so glad I did. 2 good sized chunks of pork belly and amazing crackling. The portions were huge, so well worth the money. This is the best place in town for Sunday lunch."
